Harrison’s Farm

Part of a United Utilities programme to capture spill flows from the River Douglas, this project involved construction of a 25-metre diameter detention tank. Built within secant piled walls and finished with a precast roof slab, the works required complex reinforcement and lifting operations. Completed to programme, the scheme demonstrated our ability to deliver major water infrastructure safely and effectively.
